Jens Lehmann is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and natural language processing, currently serving as Principal Scientist for Artificial General Intelligence at Amazon since June 2022. In this role, Jens integrates knowledge into large language models and mentors fellow scientists while supporting roadmap planning. Previously, Jens held significant positions at Amazon Alexa AI, Fraunhofer IAIS, and the University of Bonn, and co-led the AKSW Research Group at the University of Leipzig. In addition to industry roles, Jens is an Honorary Professor at Technische Universität Dresden, focusing on knowledge graphs and conversational AI. Jens holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden and has pursued advanced courses in Machine Learning at the University of Bristol.
