Peter Mackay has a strong background in IT and infrastructure engineering. Peter is currently working as an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at RavenTek, where they are responsible for implementing and migrating various systems. Prior to this, Peter worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at The Tatitlek Corporation from 2017 to 2021. Peter also served as a Senior Network Administrator at Intercom Federal Systems Corporation from 2016 to 2017. Peter's experience also includes working as a Senior Systems Consultant at Intergraph Government Solutions from 2004 to 2016, where they were the technical lead for enterprise-wide web-based applications. Peter has also worked as a Systems Consultant at Intergraph from 2004 to 2006 and as a Network Systems Engineer at General Dynamics from 2001 to 2004. Peter's career began as an Assistant Jr. Administrator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997.

Peter Mackay attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1990 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree. During their time at the university, they studied various subjects including Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Architecture, and Drawing.

In addition to their degree, Peter Mackay has also acquired additional certifications. In December 2011, they obtained a CompTIA Server certification from CompTIA. Moreover, in April 2010, they obtained a CompTIA Security certification (2008 edition) from the same institution.
