John Shaheen is a seasoned credit investor currently serving as the Director at Raven & Company since November 2016, specializing in asset-based direct lending, special situations, and structured finance. Prior to this role, John held positions at Goldman Sachs from July 2012 to November 2016, where responsibilities included serving as Vice President and Associate in the Financial Sponsors Group. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and a position as an intern at JVG Civil Engineering, Inc. John Shaheen earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Economics and Modern Languages from the Georgia Institute of Technology and studied at Waseda University from 2010 to 2011.
