Patrick McConnell has worked in politics for most of their young career. Starting as a research assistant at the Global Policy Group, they then became a legislative intern at the United States Senate. From there, they transitioned to working on Anthony Brindisi's congressional campaign as a communications intern. After a successful campaign, Patrick continued their work in politics by becoming a staff assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives. Most recently, Patrick has taken a break from politics to work as a senior associate at Rational 360.

Patrick McConnell attended Stuyvesant High School and then Hamilton College, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
