Petr Shatunov is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and scaling services primarily using Java and Kotlin. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Ratepay since January 2021, Petr has successfully managed the migration of services to AWS, reduced architectural complexity by decommissioning legacy systems, and led a team of engineers. Prior roles include significant contributions to CRM system development for Internet providers at Nexign and creating various software solutions for different industries, including housing utilities and accounting systems at Altarix and Volgotrans Shipping Company LLC. Additionally, Petr's background includes teaching at Samara State Technical University and working on network management and server maintenance at Transcom Ltd. Petr holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Samara State Technical University.
