Paul Mikita currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Emergency Management at RWJBarnabas Health, starting in July 2023. With extensive experience in emergency preparedness and nursing, Paul has been a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse at Raritan Bay Medical Center since July 2006, where responsibilities include educating Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support staff. Paul previously held the position of Lead Emergency Preparedness Specialist and RN at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from May 2000 to July 2023, where notable achievements included developing compliance procedures, standardizing emergency response protocols, and establishing extensive training programs. Paul’s career began with volunteer leadership roles, progressing through various emergency medical positions, complemented by a solid educational background including a Master's degree in Emergency and Disaster Management.
