Yury Colton, JD, PhD has a diverse work experience. Currently, they serve as the Head Legal Counsel at RareCyte, Inc. since November 2019. Prior to that, Yury worked at GenQual Corp. as the General Counsel from December 2013 to November 2019. Yury also has experience as a Trustee at the National MS Society from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Yury worked as a Patent Attorney at Stoel Rives, LLP from July 2006 to December 2013, and as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Washington School of Law from 2008 to 2013. Before that, Yury served as a Patent Attorney/ Patent Agent at TraskBritt, PC in 2005.

Yury Colton, JD, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University between 1993 and 1997. They then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Notre Dame from 1997 to 2002. Following that, Yury Colton attended Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2005 and graduated with a J.D. degree in Law.
