Michael Blanco has a range of research experience in the field of life sciences. Michael started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2015 and then became a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher until 2018. Michael then worked as a Research Associate II at Genentech from 2018 to 2019. Michael then joined Stanford University as a Life Science Research Professional from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they are working at Rarebase, initially as a Research Associate 2 and currently as a Principal Research Associate.
Michael Blanco received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2016. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the same university, completing it in 2018.
