Barry McLarnon is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer at Rapid7 since November 2020. Prior to this role, Barry worked at SAP from August 2008 to October 2020, progressing from Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer to Research Associate. Barry holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast, obtained in 2013, and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science from the same institution, earned in 2008.
