Devesh Kumar Mishra has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and scientific research. Devesh Kumar started their career as a Research Biologist at the Wildlife Institute of India from February 2018 to August 2020. Following that, they worked at the ICMR-National Institute of Immunohaematology as a Senior Research Fellow from February 2021 to August 2021. Devesh Kumar then joined Randox as a Laboratory Analyst from January 2022 to February 2022. Devesh Kumar later worked at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute as an Assistant Scientific Officer from September 2022 to December 2022. In 2023, they worked at ISET Foundation as a Research Volunteer and Member, and then joined Randox as a Bioinformatics Scientist.

Devesh Kumar Mishra pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular and Human Genetics from Indian Jobs and Careers between 2014 and 2016. Later, they joined Queen's University Belfast from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
