Lester S. Garfinkel, M.D., FACP, is a seasoned medical professional with an extensive background in oncology and rehabilitation medicine. Currently serving as a consultant at The Disney Family Cancer Center at St. Joseph Hospital, Lester provides therapeutic quartz crystal bowl sessions for outpatients. As a Specialty Week Presenter at Rancho La Puerta since 2006, Lester lectures on the healing power of sound and leads complementary sessions. Previous roles include Medical Director at the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City and Medical Director of Medical Review at WellPoint. Lester's educational credentials include an MD in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology from Washington University in St. Louis, along with a BA in Psychology.
