Dov Moran is the current Chairman Of The Board at Ramon.Space. Dov has also served as Senior Director of Wireless Growth at Intel Corporation from June 2010 to December 2020, in charge of Intel’s Wireless Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other wireless technologies) growth beyond the PC: Internet of Things, Industrial, Smart TVs, Smart Assistance, Automotive & Gaming. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of R&D at Comsys from December 2005 to June 2010, heading the R&D Division developing combo WiMAX-GSM/GPRS/EDGE chipset solution & Cellular IP and integrating them into Tier-1 customer mobile platforms. Dov also served as a Board Member of Remon, the Israeli 4G Consortium of Wireless Communications. Comsys was acquired by Intel in June 2010. Dov Moran started their career as the Vice President of Engineering at Metalink in March 1997 and served there until November 2005. Dov headed Company’s R&D of next-gen 802.11n Wi-Fi chipset (Silicon & SiGe) with first time introduction of MIMO & QoS MAC algorithms, managing the engineering department (DSP, RF, VLSI, HW, SW & System) and closely working with the RFIC & Mixed-Signal Design-Centers in Atlanta,GA & Folsom,CA. Dov also served as a Board Member of ISRC, the Israeli Short Range Consortium.
Dov Moran has a M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. in the same field from the same school. Dov also has certification from Stanford University in Machine Learning, the IEEE in Senior Member, University of Colorado in Deep Learning Applications for Computer Vision, Duke University in Building Cloud Computing Solutions at Scale, and Intel Corporation in Innovation Master.
