Tom Channell has extensive experience in automation and digital development within the transport sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Automation at Ramboll since September 2015. Tom has progressed through various roles at Ramboll, including Head of Digital Development and Transport Digital Development Lead, contributing to digital initiatives in the UK and globally. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Senior Consultant and Engineer in the Bridges International team, focusing on automation and process optimization. Tom also served on the IED Council from June 2019 to May 2022 and gained diverse operational experience at Jenison Ltd. from June 2011 to August 2015, involving programming and content development. Tom holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, completed in 2015.
