Fabian Wendt is an experienced professional in the offshore wind sector, currently serving as Team Lead for the Floating Offshore Wind Team at Ramboll in Hamburg, Germany, since September 2019. In this role, Fabian oversees the execution of floating wind projects, combining project management and technical expertise. Prior to Ramboll, Fabian worked as a Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on dynamic modeling and analysis of wind turbine systems. Earlier experience includes a Research Scholar position at the University of Houston, where structural design and optimization of rotor blades were emphasized, as well as internships at Diamond Aircraft and Airbus. Fabian holds a Diplom in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and has completed professional development courses in Project Management and Machine Learning Engineering.
