Mark Sander is a Non-Executive Director at Rambler Metals & Mining. Mark has also worked as a Plinian Capital and Integrity Leadership Systems. Mark has also worked with GREENE, TWEED AND CO., Kulpsville, PA from May 2001 to March 2007. Their title was Director of Strategic Planning, Performance and Learning. Mark has implemented Enterprise Performance Management process and has also modeled cause/effect relations of objectives across matrix, product lines, and key initiatives using Balanced Scorecard software. Some of the critical performance measures that they improved are: sales grew at 15% rate to $300M/yr, estimated cost savings > $3M first year, on-time delivery increased from 93 to 95%, returns rate halved from 6000 to 3000 PPM, scrap rate decreased from >4% to 3%, inventory turns increased from <2.5 to >3.5, hiring time to fill improved from 1.25 to 1, and new product idea generation, product pipeline value, and project timeliness became measurable and grew to 100/yr, $20M, and 85% respectively. As a member of Senior Leadership Team, they facilitated regular strategic performance reviews, managed issues agenda, and shared project gate keeping. Mark has also championed the development of leadership capabilities of top managers.

Mark Sander earned a Ph.D. in Applied Earth Sciences- Ore Deposits and Exploration from Stanford University. Mark also holds an M.S. in Applied Earth Sciences-- Geostatistics from Stanford University and a B.A. in Geology, Economics from Amherst College.
