Marla Burns serves as the Supervisor of Special Education Instruction for the RAMAPO INDIAN HILLS REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT since October 2022 and has been the Executive Director and Founder of Mozaic Mindz, an educational consulting firm, since January 2006. Additionally, Marla is a Certified Makeup Artist with Makeup By MJ since August 2018 and acts as the Scholarship Chair for the New Jersey Cooperative Education Coordinators Association. Previous roles include LDT-C at Verona High School and Coordinator of Special Education at Learning Community Charter School, where responsibilities encompassed case management and IEP development. Marla has also served as an Adjunct Graduate Professor at Montclair State University, teaching various special education courses. Educational credentials include learning disabilities teacher consultant certification from Montclair State University, a certified makeup artist qualification from Parisian Beauty School, a supervisor's certificate from New Jersey City University, a Master's in Teaching from Montclair State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Counseling from the University of Connecticut.
