Michelle Gilder has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Associate Head of Prep and Associate Head of Pre Prep at Rallim Preparatory since December 2018. Prior roles include Head of Primary School at Curro from January 2016 to December 2018 and Foundation Phase Head at Curro Century City from January 2013 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, Michelle worked as a Year 5 teacher at Chesterhouse Private School and a Maths Educator at Crawford School, where responsibilities included teaching Mathematics to grades 5 to 7 and integrating Apple technology into the classroom. Michelle's experience also includes a leadership position as Head of KS 2 and leading Maths teacher in the London Borough of Wandsworth, along with teaching roles across various schools in London and South Africa, starting with Year 1 teaching in Tower Hamlets in 1997. Michelle holds a degree in Teacher Education and Professional Development from Cape Town College of Education.
