Ryo Kimura is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the e-commerce and mobile domains. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Rakuten since November 2009, Ryo has returned to focus on e-commerce after contributing to cross-functional initiatives. Previous roles at Rakuten include Development Manager, where Ryo established a mobile technical organization, and Team Manager, during which Ryo developed the Rakuten Japan marketplace mobile application for both Android and iOS. Ryo's career began as a Web Application Engineer at Rakuten, specializing in Search and Checkout web services, as well as API and batch system development. Prior to Rakuten, Ryo worked as a Software Engineer at OpenStream, Inc. from April 2005 to October 2009, involved in various client projects including auction web front-end systems and CMS replacements.
