Ganesh Ramachandran has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and consulting. Ganesh started their career as a Software Engineer at ICOM Technologies from June 1998 to August 1999. Ganesh then joined HCL Technologies as a Technical Manager from October 2000 to September 2008. Following that, they worked as a Consultant at Computer Power Group from October 2008 to July 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Security Engineer at Torque Technologies from July 2018 to December 2019. Currently, they are employed at Railinc Corp. as a Senior Security Engineer, a position they started in December 2019.

Ganesh Ramachandran completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication from Karnatak University, attending from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Ganesh Ramachandran has obtained several certifications. These include the AntiSyphon ACE T Level 10 from Black Hills Information Security in August 2021, the Threat Hunting Workshop from RiskIQ in November 2020, the F5 Certified! Administrator, BIG-IP (F5-CA, BIG-IP) from F5 in September 2020, the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in September 2017, the Sun Certified Business Component Developer for Java Platform EE 1.3 from Sun Microsystems in April 2008, the IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server v5.0 from IBM in March 2007, and the Sun Certified Java Programmer - Java 2 Platform from Sun Microsystems in April 2000.

Ganesh Ramachandran has also completed the courses "Beginner’s Guide to Containers and Orchestration" and "Docker Quick Start" from Linux Academy, although the specific completion dates for these courses are not provided.
