Javier Cabrera-Perez, MD, PhD, FAAP, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard, where research is conducted as part of a clinical fellowship under the mentorship of Shiv Pillai, MBBS, PhD. Javier has a comprehensive background in Allergy and Immunology, currently engaged in a clinical fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, scheduled to conclude in June 2024, under the guidance of Joshua Boyce, MD, and Mariana Castells, MD, PhD. Previous training includes a Pediatric Medicine residency at Texas Children's Hospital and participation in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where dual MD and PhD degrees were earned. Earlier research experiences include work at renowned institutions such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Columbia University. Educational accomplishments span from a BS in Tissue Engineering at Columbia Engineering to advanced medical training at Baylor College of Medicine and Harvard Medical School.
