Deniz Yuksel is an experienced advocacy and research professional with a background in international relations. Currently serving as Advocacy Manager at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty since October 2022, Deniz also held the role of Senior Advocacy Officer at the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as Turkey Advocacy Specialist at Amnesty International USA from July 2020 to October 2022, and Research Assistant at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy between September 2018 and July 2020. Deniz's earlier roles include teaching and administrative support at Georgetown University and internships focused on Turkey at organizations such as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Turkish Industry and Business Association, and Middle East Institute. Deniz earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Georgetown University in 2019, following completion of high school at Hisar School.
