Kim Johnson has been in the radio industry since 1996. Kim started their career at Three Eagles Communications / KFOR 1240 AM as a Promotions Director/Sales Executive. In 2000, they became a Part Owner/Managing Partner at Headwaters Media, LLC. In 2015, they joined the Radio Advertising Bureau as the Director of Sales for Professional Development. Kim brings an extensive background to the RAB team, having grown up in radio and one of their earliest memories being riding their tricycle through their family's first radio station prior to construction being complete.

Kim Johnson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1991 and 1995. In 2018, they obtained a Radio Marketing Professional certification from the Radio Advertising Bureau. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Radio Sales Manager certification from the Radio Advertising Bureau, followed by a Certified Digital Marketing Consultant certification in 2022.
