Roland Kals

Roland Kals has a diverse work experience in various industries. Roland started their career in 1998 at Bosch, where they served as a Unit Manager responsible for assembly and final inspection. During this time, they also led a significant value stream design project. In 2003, they joined the Centre of Lightweight Structures TUD-TNO as a Manager. Roland then moved to TNO Industry, where they worked as a Manager in the Production Development Department, focusing on lean manufacturing and the development of manufacturing processes. After that, they became the General Manager of Integrated Safety at TNO Automotive, overseeing the integration of active and passive safety in the automotive industry. Since January 2018, Roland has worked as the CEO of Rademaker BV, a company specializing in bakery equipment.

Roland Kals has an extensive education history. Roland began their academic journey at RWTH Aachen University, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1986 to 1992, earning the title of "ir." Upon completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Electronics Production at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
