Celal Mervan Soysal is an experienced professional in humanitarian action and project management, currently serving as the Award Manager Compliance at Rädda Barnen - Save the Children Sweden since June 2021. Prior to this role, Celal worked as a Consultant at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control for a brief period in 2021. Celal's extensive background includes multiple positions at the Danish Refugee Council from June 2016 to September 2019, including Project Coordinator and Acting Head Of Office. Celal holds a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Action and Conflict from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, alongside additional coursework in Artificial Intelligence in Society and Human Rights from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Dalarna University, respectively. A Bachelor of Business Administration in International Relations and Affairs was obtained from Ege University.
