Emma Vermeulen is an experienced sales employee currently working at Bakker Bart since October 2023. Emma is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Biology at Radboud University, where studies have been ongoing since September 2021, following a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Life Sciences completed in 2021. Emma has held a research intern position at Radboudumc in the Translational Metabolic Laboratory focusing on glycosylation disorders, specifically studying the enzyme NPL and its role in human muscle cells using iPSC-derived myoblast progenitor cells. Additionally, Emma served as the Scientific Editor-in-Chief for the Radboud Annals of Medical Students, overseeing the publication of medical articles, and has previous experience as a sales employee at La Place Restaurants. Emma’s educational background also includes a VWO degree from Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen.
