Yuheng Cai has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2012 at Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences as a Method Development Analyst. In this role, Cai conducted pesticide residue detection, including sample preparation with liquid-liquid extraction and analyzing samples by HPLC and GC-MS. In 2015, Cai joined the University of Colorado Denver as a Professional Research Assistant, where they conducted lipid coated gold nano-particle biosensor projects to study lipid-protein interaction, including lipid oxidation caused by lipoxidase and immune protein C-reactive protein binding activity to liposomes. In 2017, Cai became a Research Assistant at the University of Denver. Finally, in 2018, Cai joined Ractigen Therapeutics, where they have held the roles of Director of Innovation and Partnership Department, Associate Director of Drug Delivery Department, Associate Director of Innovation and Partnership Department, Group Leader of Formulation Section, and Research Associate II.
Yuheng Cai received a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Resources and Environment from Shandong Agricultural University in 2012. Yuheng then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry from the University of Denver in 2015.
