Darcie Velazquez, MBA, currently serves as the Director of People Operations & Compliance at Rackson Restaurants, where responsibilities include developing and standardizing HR processes to support the growth of a 65-unit organization with over 1,800 employees, and ensuring compliance across seven states. Previous experience includes serving as Human Resources Director at Friends of the High Line, overseeing talent acquisition during rapid expansion, and as Director of Human Resources at United Activities Unlimited, managing HR strategies for a workforce of over 500 employees. Earlier roles include Human Resource Director and Human Resource Generalist at The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, focusing on strategic staffing, compliance, and optimizing the recruitment lifecycle. Darcie holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Youngstown State University.
