Rogier Raaijmakers, PhD, serves as the Program Lead for Banking the Energy Transition and Head of Commercial Banking at Rabobank since October 2020. Prior to this role, Raaijmakers was the Head of Rabo Growth Capital at Rabo Corporate Investments from July 2018 to October 2020, where efforts were made to enhance support for businesses aligned with Rabobank's mission. Raaijmakers' extensive experience at Rabobank includes positions such as Member of the Board of Directors at Rabo Merchant Bank, Head of Client Solutions Netherlands, and Executive Director of Global Client Solutions. Raaijmakers began a legal career as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel for Retail at Rabobank, having previously lectured in Civil Law at Tilburg University. Raaijmakers holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Doctor of Philosophy in Property Law from Tilburg University.
