Marc de Haas is an experienced professional with a strong background in sports management and community engagement. Currently serving as a Gemeenteraadslid for Top Gemeentebelangen in Terneuzen since April 2022, Marc also holds the position of Ledenraadslid at Rabobank Zeeuws-Vlaanderen since January 2024. As an Ambassadeur for Stichting Hulst voor Elkaar, responsibilities include creating and implementing sports stimulation plans and organizing sports events. Previous roles include serving as a tennis instructor at Tennisschool Johnny Blackman and a climbing instructor at Arendse Health Club. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Sports from Breda University of Applied Sciences and a level 4 qualification as a Buitensportcoördinator from CIOS Goes.
