Michelle Nichols serves as the Regional Vice President of Business Development at R1 RCM since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Sales Director for Technology Enabled Services at Optum from March 2018 to May 2023, and Regional VP of Business Development at Alltran from August 2017 to March 2018. Previously, Michelle was the Western Regional Sales Director at McKesson Provider Technologies from 2011 to April 2017, overseeing new business development for Revenue Cycle Management Services. Additional experience includes managing sales for Emergency Medicine Revenue Cycle Management Services at MedData, directing business development activities at TGen, and establishing marketing strategies for a behavioral healthcare startup, Hythiam, Inc. Michelle began a career in sales and marketing at Human Biologics International, contributing to its recognition as a notable biotechnology company. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Arizona State University.
