Mona Shahbandi is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Electric Power at the University of Waterloo, expected to complete in December 2026. With extensive experience in electrical design and Building Information Modeling (BIM), Mona has held various positions, including Electrical Designer and BIM Specialist at R.V. Anderson Associates Limited since December 2019, and previous roles at Nordicon Consulting Inc., Stephenson Engineering Ltd., and Applanix Corporation. Mona's expertise encompasses creating 3D models, construction drawings, and coordinating with contractors and architects to ensure project compliance with building codes. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Building Information Modeling and Management from George Brown College, multiple certifications in Project Management and Architecture from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Architecture from Soore and Tabari University. Additionally, an Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical and Control Technology was obtained from PWUT.
