Eddie Metcalfe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eddie began their career in the foodservice industry, working as a Restaurant Manager at Burger King and Western Sizzlin. Eddie then transitioned to a Shift Foreman role at Wilsonart, followed by a Shipping and Receiving Manager position at Dillard's Inc. In 1996, they joined Expressions Restaurant as a Sous Chef, where they assisted the Chef with daily menu planning and was responsible for food preparation and maintaining a clean workstation. At Aramark, Eddie served as a Head Chef, preparing meals for a large number of students, faculty, and staff. Eddie also gained experience as a Pastry Apprentice at Desserts International Inc and as a Pastry Chef at American Grill and The Biltmore Company. Eddie's most recent role was at R.L. Schreiber, Inc., where they held various positions, including Independent Distributor, Regional Sales Manager, Division Sales Manager, Director of Sales, National Sales Manager, and Director of Sales Operations.
Eddie Metcalfe's education history includes attending Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Following this, they pursued a Pastry Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts/Baker/Pastry Chef from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College from 1998 to 1999.
