Miriam Navia Fernandez has been working in the software industry since 2010. Miriam began their career as a Software Analyst at everis, where they were responsible for technical and functional design, development in Java and Spring, QA, and management tasks. Miriam then moved to Rakuten TV in 2017, where they worked as a Backend QA Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for testing new backend functionalities or changes, implemented on Ruby, following Agile methodology. Miriam also automated API tests with Runscope and interacted with continuous integration flow, including deploys to production environment. Most recently, they have been working as a QA Engineer at Qustodio since 2019.

Miriam Navia Fernandez completed their Ingeniería degree in Ingeniería informática from Universitat Pompeu Fabra between 2005 and 2009. In December 2014, they obtained the Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. Additionally, they received the Cambridge English: First (FCE) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2009.
