Rakhee Ganti, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and neurology. Rakhee currently serves as the Head of Medical and Scientific Writing at QurAlis, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor of Biology at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2022 to January 2023.
Before their academic roles, Dr. Ganti worked as a Scientist/Senior Medical Writer at Precision Medicine Group from August 2021 to September 2022. Rakhee also had extensive research experience at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they were a Doctoral Candidate in the School of Biological Sciences from July 2013 to December 2020. Rakhee'sdoctoral research focused on the differential effects of molecular chaperones on protein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr. Ganti has also worked in various roles related to neurology. Rakhee served as the Neuropathology Laboratory Manager at Northwestern Medicine's Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center (CNADC) from August 2011 to May 2013. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience at Duke-NUS Medical School from May 2011 to August 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Emory University Hospital's Wesley Woods Health Center from May 2009 to April 2011, where they managed clinical trials and contributed to scientific studies related to Alzheimer's disease and diabetes mellitus.
Rakhee Ganti, Ph.D., completed their education in a chronological sequence. Rakhee started their education at Northwestern University in 2012, where they studied neuropsychology. In 2013, they transferred to the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Continuing their studies at Georgia Tech, Rakhee pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics from 2014 to 2020. After completing their PhD, they attended Harvard Medical School in 2023 to 2024 to enhance their skills in Effective Writing in Health Care.
