David Schowengerdt has over 17 years of experience in software development and web development. David is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at The Zebra, where they contribute to the backend development and maintenance of auto insurance rate-comparison products. Previously, they served as the Director of Software Development - Calls at QuoteWizard, where they managed the development of a lead generation calls delivery platform. David also worked as a Senior Web Developer and the Trading Services Team Lead at QuoteWizard, where they oversaw the technical implementation of lead partner integrations. Before that, they were a Senior Web Developer at Demand Media and the sole programmer of the Internet/intranet web development team at the Wisconsin Historical Society. David began their career as a Web Developer/VP of the Travel Division at Weather Connections, where they conceptualized, created, and maintained multiple websites.

David Schowengerdt received an M.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1992 and 1994. David'sfield of study was Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
