Jethro Paulo Riosa has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and development. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer intern at Pragtechnologies Corp., where they developed web, mobile, and API solutions for healthcare systems using Elixir, Phoenix Framework, GraphQL, and React-native. 🤙 Jethro Paulo also worked on a web application for a mining corporation, handling and migrating large amounts of data, as well as a CMS and mobile application for a municipal government.
In 2019, Riosa joined Martide as a Software Engineer, primarily working with Elixir and Phoenix, implementing features and maintaining the backend of the platform. 🤙 Jethro Paulo also played a key role in developing microservices for the chat system, enabling candidates and hiring managers to communicate effectively. Additionally, they contributed to designing and developing UI features for both web and mobile using React-Native and Phoenix Framework.
In 2020, Riosa took on the role of a Fullstack Web Development Instructor at Avion School. 🤙 Jethro Paulo shared their expertise and knowledge in web development with students, teaching them various topics and skills required for the field.
Riosa then joined Papa in 2020 as a Backend Engineer, specializing in Elixir development. Here, they worked on multiple projects, including developing a service-oriented test helper for APIs, creating a backend API using Contentful's API to generate location data, and developing a CSV parser to parse and import data into a PostgreSQL database.
Most recently, in 2022, Riosa founded their own company, One-To-One, and is currently serving as its Founder. This marks their transition into entrepreneurship and leadership in the software industry.
In 2023, Riosa is set to join QuotaSignal as a Software Engineer, further continuing their career in software development.
Jethro Paulo Riosa completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (cum laude) from STI College - Marikina, where they attended from 2012 to 2017. 🤙 Jethro Paulo has also obtained several additional certifications, including "100 Mentorship Minutes" from adplist.org in January 2023, "Code of Conduct: Healthcare (2022-2023)" from Traliant in January 2023, and "1 Mentorship Session" from adplist.org in December 2022. Additionally, Jethro obtained certifications such as "Code of Conduct Year 3" and "Cultural Competency & Humility Year 2" from Traliant in June 2022, as well as "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment in Healthcare: US Employees Year 3" from Traliant in June 2022.
