Michael Seth has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and research. Michael worked as a Senior Software Developer at Quorum Software since 2013. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, University of Calgary from 2000 to 2013. Michael'sresponsibilities included developing and implementing computational algorithms for simulating light-matter interactions in the presence of a magnetic field. Michael also developed an efficient methodology for determining structures of molecules in excited states. Before that, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory from 1998 to 2000. During this time, they implemented a parallel program module for molecular structure calculations and conducted simulations on uranium and related elements, providing valuable insights into nuclear waste separation procedures.
Michael Seth completed their BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, respectively, from The University of Auckland. Michael pursued their education from 1990 to 1997.
