Gary Trafford has a diverse work experience in software development and web development. Gary started their career as a Web Developer at Indepth Interactive in 2006 and later joined I & E Systems as a Programmer, where they worked on developing a Systems Modelling and Document Management tool called DAD. During their time at I & E Systems, they also handled the development and maintenance of the company's websites. In 2015, they worked as a Help Desk Officer at WA Country Health Service before transitioning to Stochastic Simulation, where they worked as a Software Developer. From 2017 to 2021, Gary worked at Previso Software Pty Ltd as a Software Developer. Currently, they are employed as a Software Developer at Quorum Software starting from April 2021.

Gary Trafford obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Edith Cowan University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005.
