Oded Oron is a scientist at Quorum Innovations, having joined the company in August 2023. Prior to this role, Oded served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine from June 2019 to March 2023, where leadership of several projects focused on the genetic factors influencing Late-Onset Alzheimer's Disease (LOAD) was undertaken. The research aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which African ancestry may afford a protective effect against LOAD in APOE4 carriers. Oded Oron holds a PhD in Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience from Bar-Ilan University (2014-2018), an MSc in Medical Science from the same institution (2012-2014), and a BSc in Biotechnology from Tel-Hai College (2008-2012).
