Michael Fowler is an experienced professional in the field of IT security and engineering, currently serving as an Architect at Quorum Cyber since March 2022, where Michael has also held positions as Engineering Lead, Managed Services Engineering Manager, and SOC Engineering Lead. Prior to this, Michael worked at Insights as a Security Operations Manager from May 2020 to March 2022, overseeing the operations of the Security Operations Function. From March 2015 to May 2020, Michael was the Threats and Vulnerabilities Lead at SSE plc and previously served as a Security Analyst at Babcock International Group PLC from March 2012 to February 2015. Michael's career began in the Royal Navy, where Michael was a Petty Officer Weapon Engineering Technician from October 2003 to March 2012, focusing on IT security aspects. Michael holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Licentiateship Award in Engineering Management from City & Guilds and a Foundation Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
