Gurmit Singh currently serves as the General Manager for APAC & MENA at Quora since November 2019, playing a crucial role in establishing the company's Indian entity and expanding its presence in multiple regions, including India, South East Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Prior to Quora, Gurmit founded edpurple, an Edtech startup, and served as the Managing Director and Vice President for Yahoo India from February 2014 to June 2018. Additional leadership roles include CEO of Forbes India, Head of the Mumbai Edition at Hindustan Times, CEO of Rajshri Media, and Business Director at India Today. Gurmit Singh holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
