Stefano Cavaliere has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Stefano began their career as a Private Tutor at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they helped students progress in their careers. Stefano then took on the role of Team Leader - Fundraising at the Board of European Students of Technology, leading a team to raise funds for the NGO.
Stefano later joined the Vatican City as St. Peter's Basilica Security, providing exceptional customer experiences for the basilica's guests. Stefano then transitioned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, starting as an Account Manager and eventually becoming a Team Leader. In this role, they focused on driving sales campaigns, lead generation, and alliance relations. Stefano also trained and coached their team while managing co-selling campaigns with vendors like VMware, Microsoft, and Veeam.
Afterwards, they joined Gartner as an Account Executive, where they served as a trusted advisor to C-level executives. Stefano worked with mid-sized technology enterprises, IT consulting firms, and system integrator firms, offering innovative solutions and strategic guidance. Additionally, Stefano took on leadership-related responsibilities such as mentorship, sales academy best practices, recruitment advising, and product training.
Currently, Stefano works at Qumulo as the Regional Sales Director for EMEA South. Stefano initially joined as a Territory Account Manager for Southern Europe, responsible for driving market penetration and team development. Over time, they successfully transformed the region into the best-performing one in EMEA, with over 50 clients and a dedicated Qumulo team. Now, they oversee the team's territory development in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Stefano Cavaliere holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Sapienza Università di Roma, which they obtained in 2011. Stefano then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same university, completing it in 2014. In 2011, they also engaged in various cultural exchange programs in different universities, including Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where they gained knowledge in International Relations and Affairs, Selling Skills and Communication, and Sustainable Energy and Smart Grid respectively. Stefano Cavaliere attended the Scientific High School "Augusto Righi" in Rome, Italy, and obtained a High School Degree with a perfect score of 100/100. In terms of certifications, they attained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2020. Previously, they received the Gartner Sales Academy certification in 2018, along with various sales certifications from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and VMware in 2017 and 2016 respectively.
