Darren Drake has a diverse work experience. Darren recently joined QuintEvents as an Event Operations Manager in October 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked at the NJCAA as a Sports, Events & Championships Associate, where they were responsible for overseeing sports event operations and managing the ordering of National Championship awards. In 2019, they also had internships at the Carolina Panthers as a Football Operations Intern and at the Charlotte Athletic Foundation 49er Club as an Athletic Foundation Intern.

Darren's work experience also includes being a Student-Athlete at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2015 to 2019. During their time there, they played Offensive Line for the football team while pursuing a bachelor's degree. Darren successfully managed a healthy work/life balance and worked in a high-stress and fast-pace environment.

Additionally, Darren participated in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in 2018.

Darren Drake pursued their education chronologically, starting in 2015 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Darren pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, completing their studies in 2019. Subsequently, from 2021 to 2022, Darren enrolled at the University of Florida to pursue a Master's of Science in Sports Management.
