Vishal also worked at AmberPoint as a Software Developer, focusing on middleware software development, and at Sun Microsystems as a Member of Technical Staff, contributing to Java Web Services development.

Vishal Mahajan attended Manav Sthali School in New Delhi from 1989 to 1999. Vishal then pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1999 to 2003.
