Tony McAlister has held various roles throughout their career. Tony started as the Director of Development at Ingram Entertainment in 1987 and stayed with the company until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they served as the VP of Information Services & Operations at SpeedServe.com, where they successfully sold the company for over $25M. Tony then joined Buy.com as the VP of Information Services from 1998 to 2000, managing product development and technology infrastructure. In 2000, they became the CTO of uMogul, an early-stage startup providing investment services to the entertainment industry. Tony held this role until 2001. Tony then joined Vodafone as the CIO, overseeing non-voice data services and generating significant revenue for the company. Tony stayed with Vodafone until 2005 when they joined Motricity as the CIO. In 2009, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Betfair, where they remained until January 2017. Finally, in 2017, Tony McAlister joined QuikQ LLC as the Chief Operating Officer.
Tony McAlister completed the Global Management Development Program at IMD in 2004 and an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Nashville State Technical Institute between 1978 and 1980.
