Ron Shamir serves as the General Manager for Questrade Israel since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading strategy, innovation, and growth, along with driving strategic collaborations and talent recruitment. As a board member of the 8200 Alumni Association since 2019, Shamir contributed to the tech community. Prior experience includes roles as VP of Strategic Global Alliances and VP of Products at Cybersixgill, focusing on leveraging technology for global partnerships and defining product strategy. Shamir has also worked as the Director of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate and served in Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 for 25 years, culminating in a foundational career in cybersecurity and intelligence. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's degree from Bar-Ilan University.
