Wei Zhong is a Materials Design Engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC since November 2022, previously serving as an Assistant Research Scientist and Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of Maryland from August 2019 to November 2022. Wei Zhong's experience includes designing and conducting high-throughput diffusion experiments and mechanical tests on various Mg alloys, significantly contributing to the understanding of diffusion coefficients for multiple elements in Mg. Earlier, Wei Zhong was a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University from August 2013 to May 2019, earning both a PhD and an MS in Materials Science and Engineering. Wei Zhong also interned as a Materials Design Engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC in 2017, where simulations focused on diffusion and oxidation in bcc High-Entropy Alloy prototypes. Education includes a BS in Materials Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
