Jason S. Hudson has a wealth of experience in the field of forensic toxicology and scientific research. Jason S. is currently working as the Scientific Director of Toxicology at Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Toxicologist at the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held the position of Toxicology Section Chief at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences from 2015 to 2019. From 2010 to 2015, Jason worked as a Forensic Toxicologist at the Virginia Department of Forensic Science. Jason S. also gained valuable experience as a Predoctoral NIH Research Fellow at UAB from 2007 to 2009 and as a Graduate Assistant from 2003 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they completed an internship at the Mississippi Crime Laboratory in 2002.
Jason S. Hudson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry from the University of Mississippi. Jason S. also holds a PhD in Chemistry and Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition to their academic achievements, Jason has obtained certifications including the Fellow-American Board of Forensic Toxicology from the American Board of Forensic Toxicology and the Laboratory Director Certificate of Qualification from the New York State Department of Health.
