Sergey Vartanov has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Sergey started their career at Quest Software in 2006 as a Software Developer Trainee and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Software Developer and eventually a Team Lead and Senior Developer. During their time at Quest Software, Sergey worked on various projects, including Recovery Manager for SharePoint, Recovery Manager for Exchange, and Recovery Manager for Active Directory.

At Dell, Sergey held the position of Software Development Senior Engineer and later became a Software Engineer Manager II. During their time at Dell, they played a key role in the development of Recovery Manager for Exchange, implementing major product features and designing a cloud-based CI/CD and development infrastructure.

Sergey returned to Quest Software in 2016 as a Software Engineer Manager II and Software Development Senior Engineer. In this role, they focused on the project management and product development of Recovery Manager for Active Directory and Recovery Manager for Exchange. Sergey also contributed to the design and implementation of cloud-based and automation testing infrastructure.

Sergey Vartanov completed their Master's Degree in the Faculty of Information Systems in Economics at St Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1991 to 2001, they attended St. Petersburg school 207 where they studied English Language, Mathematics, and Physics.
