Dagfinn Heggem started their work experience in 2004 as a Fraud Analyst at Teller AS. Dagfinn then worked as an Associate Producer at Funcom from September 2009 to October 2012. After that, they joined Quesnay in December 2012 as a Project Manager / Advisor / Team Lead. Dagfinn later became the Chief Commercial Officer at Quesnay in November 2019. In 2021, Dagfinn Heggem moved to Stacc and assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Dagfinn Heggem attended Oslo Katedralskole from 1994 to 1997, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In September 2013, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance, Inc. through Mike Cohn.
